Dr Semaan and his team use clear aligners to treat almost 90% of their patients and start over 700 new clear aligner cases each year. Dr Semaan began using Dental monitoring in 2016. He is currently monitoring over 300 patients with an estimated 600 patients by the end of this year.
He is also a visiting lecturer to the post graduate residents at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, USA and an assistant professor at the European University College, Dubai where he is currently conducting research on the effectiveness of Dental Monitoring app.
He has lectured on orthodontics throughout Asia, North America, New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East and across Australia. He is passionate about helping others appreciate the many advantages clear aligners have over fixed appliance therapy. • Lecture: Artificial Intelligence in Orthodontics: - Leverage your expertise, offer better patient care and complete your digital practice.
The latest emerging trend is Artificial Intelligence (AI) and deep learning. It is another example of the risk vs opportunity paradigm of disruptive technology. Much of the orthodontic speciality will continue to see these technological advances as a threat to quality patient care, and their livelihoods. Others will see immense opportunity.

The greatest challenge facing the future of aligner treatments is maintaining control over an ever-growing number of treatments while achieving satisfactory treatment outcomes. Most treatments necessitate mid-course corrections or long refinements, because control during treatment is limited by the long intervals between appointments.

Find out how Dr Semaan harnesses AI in his practice using Dental Monitoring as tool to optimize aligner change for all his patients, Dr Semaan has been able to treat 750 aligner patients as a single-doctor practice.

    Learning objectives:
    • Tactics for improving treatment optimization
    • Develop a time-saving protocol in your practice
    • Strategies for better patient engagement

The lecture will give participants scripting, flow charts and checklists so they can immediately implement Dental Monitoring into their offices.
Early Bird Registration Ends on
31st of May 2019
